• Have the agent do the driving and ask them for listing printouts of the homes on your tour.
• Check to see if they will provide pictures of the home's exteriors.
  This will help you keep up with which homes you are considering.
  Remember that TN Properties picture pages are printable to help with your selection.
• Bring an area map with you during the tours and let the agent help you place the homes on the map.
• Make sure the agent is familiar with the area in which you wish to buy your home. Ask questions about schools, shopping and recreational activities.
• If things are not going according to plan, discuss and try to solve the situation with them. If you can't, find another agent.
• Find out if the agency or agent belongs to the Multiple Listing Service.
• Take your time, make your offer, and say no if you do not feel comfortable.
